For Yusneidi, photography began not as a business plan, but a moment when she realized the power an image can hold. Originally from Cuba, she was first introduced to photography through her father-in-law, who worked as a photographer. While helping him with editing, she witnessed something that stayed with her: the excitement and emotion people felt when receiving their photos. Seeing those reactions sparked a curiosity in her about the art behind capturing memories.
That curiosity grew stronger during a family trip to Miami for her niece’s quinceañera. Watching the photographer capture the celebration, Yusneidi found herself imagining what it would be like to be the person behind the camera. In that moment, she began to envision photography as something that could define her creatively and personally. The idea of building something of her own, something meaningful and artistic, became the beginning of what would later become Luna’s Creations.
At first, photography remained a hobby. Yusneidi used her camera to experiment, learn, and practice. But as her interest deepened, she began looking for ways to transform that passion into something more structured and sustainable. Around that time, she learned that Centro Hispano was offering business courses. Motivated by the desire to understand how to start and manage a business, she enrolled in the program with the goal of learning the fundamentals.
Participating in Centro Hispano’s business program became a key step in shaping her journey. Although some of her classmates already had established businesses, Yusneidi saw the experience as an opportunity to build a strong foundation for her own venture. The program provided guidance in areas that were completely new to her, helping her understand the essential steps needed to turn her creative passion into a business.
Today, many of the tools she learned in the program continue to guide her work. Financial preparation, understanding taxes, developing a business plan, marketing strategies, and customer service are all skills she uses regularly. These lessons not only helped her launch Luna’s Creations but also continue to support her growth as an entrepreneur.
Like many small businesses, Luna’s Creations started in a modest way, inside a basement space where Yusneidi began building her vision piece by piece. With time, dedication, and effort, the business grew. Eventually, she was able to expand into a dedicated studio space, filled with props and creative setups that allow her to capture a wide range of moments for her clients.
Today, Luna’s Creations offers professional photography services for many types of occasions, including birthdays, family sessions, and other special celebrations. Each session focuses on high-definition photography combined with careful editing to ensure the final images reflect the beauty and emotion of the moment. Yusneidi places great importance on how her work is delivered to her clients. Photos are provided digitally as well as through printed formats, often presented in personalized packaging and envelopes with high-resolution prints. Photo albums are also available, giving families a lasting way to preserve their memories.
For Yusneidi, photography is about more than images, it is about connection. She often describes her studio as a welcoming space where families and individuals can come together to capture the moments that matter most in their lives.
Her journey reflects a belief that every idea begins with a small step. Building something meaningful requires effort, patience, and dedication, but with time those efforts can grow into something lasting. From a hobby inspired by family experiences to a growing photography studio, Luna’s Creations represents the power of creativity, determination, and the courage to pursue a dream. Today, Yusneidi continues capturing the moments that families want to remember forever.
